TCU to Leave Mountain West for Big East . . .

Well, so much for the glorious rebirth of the Mountain West.  Now that the MW's arguably three best football programs are leaving, as one headline puts it, Boise State appears set to enter WAC 2.0.  Poor Broncos.

Please weigh in with your thoughts, below.

I know I'll get at least one comment(er) on this post.

(Too bad I'll already have graduated from UC by the time TCU joins the conference.)

Apparently they got better TV money over there and their fans may actually be able to watch their team play. The MTN is embarrasing. While watching the Holy War I was amazed at the poor camera work and enough random ads to drive one crazy.

Perhaps The U and BYU had an idea this would happen when they made their respective moves - for more money.

Indeed.

Thank you for validating my declaration.

I think it is great. I personally don't care too much for BYU football or anybody else in the mountain west, except that I feel they should get the respect they deserve (I don't think they do). I'm glad that TCU is in the Big East, because Cincinnati now has another strong program in the conference. Will this save the Big East? Only if the traditional strong houses (WV, Pitt, and Cincy) start doing well again. Only time will tell.

Cincy is a traditional strong house in football?
