Today's Spiritual Message: Feast Upon the Words of Christ

Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do.  (2 Nephi 32:3.)

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we place a great deal of emphasis on what our Heavenly Father has taught is in the past (the scriptures), as well as what He is currently teaching us today, through His prophets and Apostles (especially in General Conference).

The Conference Center seats 21,000.
My family and I really enjoyed this weekend's General Conference messages and really look forward to studying them, in earnest.  I invite you to see what the Lord instructed His prophets to teach.

As a side note, we tried to potty train our daughter (a three day, all out endeavor) for the third time, and I'm convinced she either loves diapers or has somehow seen the evil talking potty from Look Who's Talking 2 (I think that's the movie) and is mortified of sitting down on a toilet . . .

D&C 121: 7.

As much as I love conference, it may not be the right motivational tool for a child of that age. Glad to hear the weekend went well.

Yes, I think she enjoyed Conference too much to sit down!

I really enjoy your ability to link one to the site of interest so quickly! BRAVO!

Yes, potty training was interesting...though I think we'll have some fun memories from it. ;)

I enjoyed conference as well. It certainly makes it more exciting with Maria.

Sometimes it takes quite a few tries. Or they catch on to "one procedure" but not the other for a while. This is an area where a child can show almost super-human resistance! Good luck! This too shall pass....literally! :)

Yes, I take much solace in D&C 121: 7.

I tried to avoid the question from verse one . . .
